Mrs. Somita Munshi breathed her last today at 05.05 am (Sunday, 30th November, 2008). She was undergoing treatment at the CMRI, Kolkata.She was born on 26 February, 1950 and joined Don Bosco School, Liluah on 1st January, 1978. She served the institution for the past 30 years. She had lost her husband, Mr. Sukumar Munshi on 31st August, 2008. She is survived by her two daughters, Arati and Aditi.
The school will hold a memorial service in her honour on Monday, 1st December. The unit test scheduled for the Junior Section will be held on Monday, while the unit test of the Senior Section will be held on Wednesday, 3rd December. As a mark of respect for our beloved Ma'am Munshi the school will remain closed on Tuesday, 2nd December.
